项目介绍:
本项目讲带领学生一起探究计算生物学在对抗COVID-19大流行中的应,项目从序列对齐算法入手,探究排列冠状病毒基因组序列与其他病毒基因组,了解其起源和进化。应用组合模式匹配算法和隐马尔可夫模型算法分析冠状病毒基因组的基因组保护模式及如何为病毒设计新疫苗。使用系统发育树算法来处理病毒基因组的突变变异(不同国家的病毒基因组序列),利用基因组组装算法从序列读取构建冠状病毒基因组。通过本项目的学习,学生可以深入了解算法在冠状病毒基因组分析中的应用,在项目结束时,选择病毒基因组利用计算生物学知识进行分析研究,并提交项目报告,进行成果展示。

This project will lead students to explore the application of computational biology in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. THis project will start from the introduction of the sequence alignment algorithm, explore the arrangement of the coronavirus genome sequence and other viral genomes to understand its origin and evolution. Using the combined pattern matching algorithm and hidden Markov model algorithm to analyze the genome protection mode of the coronavirus genome and guide the people to design a new vaccine for the virus. Using the phylogenetic tree algorithm to process the mutation and mutation of the viral genome (viral genome sequences in different countries), and using the genome assembly algorithm to construct the coronavirus genome from the sequence reads. Through the study of this project, students can have a deep understanding of the application of algorithms in the analysis of coronavirus genome. At the end of this project, students can select virus genomes for analysis and research using knowledge of computational biology, and submit a project report to display their results.
