Course will include a mix of lectures, screenings and hands on exercises that present essential cinema grammar and non-fiction directing approaches. This course seeks to further develop each student’s filmmaking voice as well as their personal connection to cultural and familial traditions. For the goals of course, this program will present the fundamental theories and practices of creating documentary film, explore meaningful family and cultural connections and their historic evolution. The program will also provide practical directorial approaches and techniques through class exercises. Student will explore the creative interaction of sound and image.
本项目的课程内容丰富包括理论讲座、专题影片放映分析和拍摄实践，课程还展示了关键且基本的电影拍摄原则和非艺术虚构类电影的导演方法。本课程旨在进一步挖掘每个学生对于电影制作的独特见解和灵感，鼓励学生结合自己的人文背景和家族传统等文化上的特色，进一步对电影叙事内容和逻辑进行独立创作。本课程将涉及个人微电影的实操拍摄，学习如何进行场景布置，演员站位、灯光及拍摄角度的选择及后期制作的方法；电影剧本及台词撰写，学习如何建立人物关系，突出故事人物性格，引导剧情走向等重要的创作手法；经典纪录片分析，学习如何专业地分析电影场景中演员的台词、动作的动机，导演对视觉，符号的运用，各场景切换之间的计划安排等。学生会在教授的指导下完成一部5分钟的个人纪录片的拍摄，并作为最终项目产出，可作为作品储备为日后求学申请和相关领域发展提供实质的基础。
