项目介绍：
项目将带领学生收集和讨论不同类型的统计信息图形，甄别好图形和坏图形，培养统计图形整体感知，整合统计中最为核心的定量数据分析和可视化方法，探讨整合实质性假设与基本统计方法，运用R语言完成统计。学生将在项目结束时，提交项目报告，进行成果展示。
We will begin by gathering and discussing various graphical displays of information, and practice generating good graphs and bad graphs. This will help students acquire a good aesthetic sense of how to display quantitative information. We will then proceed to look at ways of integrating quantitative data and visual displays, so students can develop a sense of best practices. Finally, we will discuss the importance of aligning substantive hypotheses with basic statistical methods to test them. The course will include both didactic lectures and hands-on assignments and projects, which the students will learn how to complete using the R statistical computing package.
