项目介绍：
This program introduces basic concepts and methods which students may find useful for their research studies in data science and actuarial science. Students will form a group of three and embark on a project that is a case study on how data science helps in scientific research or our daily lives.
Upon the completion of the project, students can pursue their further study in quantitative majors in science, business and social science, e.g. actuarial science, data science, economics, finance, psychology, risk management or statistics. They can also embark on an individual research project that aims to publish high quality papers in academic journals by developing novel research methodologies and designing efficient algorithms for solving real problems in many scientific disciplines.
