Transcript: The MAcc Admissions Committee will review scanned copies of official transcripts uploaded in your application for evaluation purposes. If you are admitted to Fisher, you will be required to submit final official transcripts. International credentials should include certified educational records and degree certificates or diplomas in the original language with English translations. NOTE: Applicants who earned or are in process of earning degrees from universities outside of the United States must also have a course-by-course evaluation of their transcripts by an approved credential evaluator and have that report made available to Fisher. Currently, the Fisher MAcc program accepts credential evaluations from ECE or WES. Curriculum Vitae: This is your opportunity to showcase your employment history, extracurricular and/or community activities, language skills, and military record, if applicable. Recommendation Letter: You are required to submit at least two (2) letters of recommendation that can speak to your potential to be successful in the program. You will have the opportunity to ask your references to submit either electronic or paper letters of reference on your behalf when you submit your online application. When deciding whom to ask for letters of recommendation, you will want to choose individuals who can attest to your scholarship, professional development, personal character, and overall potential to succeed. We recommend at least two of your letters of reference be from academic sources. Essays: You are required to submit two (2) essays when applying to the program. We encourage you to invest time in your essays, be genuine, and include examples with the points you make. ESSAY 1: Why do you wish to earn a MAcc degree? Why do you wish to earn a MAcc from The Fisher College of Business? How will the Fisher MAcc program assist you in achieving your immediate career goals? ESSAY 2: What is the most difficult situation you have had to deal with and what did you learn from the experience? ESSAY 3: IF YOUR UNDERGRADUATE MAJOR IS/WAS NOT ACCOUNTING, you must answer this question. (If your undergraduate major is/was accounting, skip this question.) If you are applying without an academic major/background in accounting, what have you done to prepare yourself academically for this program? (Note: you need to reference the specific accounting, economics, mathematics, and statistics courses you have completed to date and, if applicable, are currently scheduled to take.) Include official course descriptions of the accounting courses you have taken to date and/or in which you are currently enrolled.
