Transcript: Copies of official transcripts from a) each institution where a bachelor’s degree has been or will be granted; b) any institution attended after completing a bachelor’s degree, or from which any graduate coursework was attempted, regardless of whether or not a degree has been or is being completed; and c) any college or university attended within the past four years from which credit was or is currently being completed. Curriculum Vitae: A copy of your resume or CV is required. Personal Statement: A written statement of purpose in both English and French. Recommendation Letter: Three letters of recommendation (preferably from professors who can comment on your academic progress, if you have experience teaching –or similar- a letter from your employer is also very valuable). Financial Support Form: Submiting a Financial Support Form with the application is not required, but it is recommended. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services require that Ohio University establish that students have sufficient funds for the first year of study before a Form I-20 or DS-2019 Certificate of Eligibility can be issued. Having a complete Financial Support Form on file at the point you are admitted will speed up processing of your Certificate of Eligibility. Copy of Diploma and/or Degree Certificate: If the transcript/mark sheet does not name the degree and date earned, you must submit a Registrar (or equivalent office) certified or attested copy of the degree diploma and/or degree certificate. Chinese students must submit both the Degree Certificate and the Certificate of Graduation.
