学校基本情况

奥克兰理工大学的前身是奥克兰理工学院，创建于1895年，是新西兰历史最悠久的学院之一。2000年1月，奥克兰理工大学被新西兰政府正式授予国立大学的地位，从而成为新西兰8所国立大学之一，被誉为新西兰最年轻、最有活力的大学，也是新西兰惟一一所工科并因其雄厚的工科背景领先新西兰科学研究的大学。

奥克兰理工大学位于新西兰最大的城市奥克兰，设有两个主校园：一个位于奥克兰市中心，而新的Akoranga Campus则位于奥克兰市以北十公里的沿岸地区，也就是俗称的“北岸校区”。两所分校之间有大巴车接送学生，每20分钟一班。奥克兰理工大学现有在校学生2.5万人，其中留学生约750多人，分别来自52个国家。奥克兰理工大学开设的专业有商业、应用艺术、理学和工程学、健康研究等，可以为学生提供范围广泛的证书、文凭课程，方便学生就业，也可以提供学士学位及硕士学位课程。大学采取小班教学，平均每班16人，使每个学生都能得到很好的照顾。

该校毕业生在新西兰雇主口碑非常好，因为该校相当注重学生的实践能力。

奖学金情况

为鼓励优秀学生，凡获得雅思总分6.0 (单项不低于5.0)，申请AUT大学6个月快捷预科2018年7月和10月入学的新生，都将获得3,000新西兰元奖学金（约合人民币15,000元）。

AUT 6 个月快捷预科的学费为 17,750新西兰元，学生获得3,000新西兰元奖学金后，学费变为14,750新西兰元。

When students choose to study at AUT, they become part of a group of over 5,000 international students from more than 95 countries. AUT offers modern programmes across all levels of tertiary education and is known for its strong industry links and high graduate employment rate.

The AUT Certificate in Foundation Studies delivers a guaranteed pathway for international students to their degree of choice. The programme is delivered at the ACG Education Pathways Campus in the central city, ideally located close to the AUT University campus.

Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand, has been ranked the third-best city for quality of living in a recent global survey**. This is the fourth year that Auckland has been in third place and is also the highest ranked city in the southern hemisphere.
